The 2024 Parade of Homes wrapped up June 23rd, and it was a great success this year! Once a year, the Building Industry Association’s Parade of Homes showcases the best in residential construction. For over 30 years, this event has welcomed the public to explore new homes in Lancaster and Lebanon, through in person and online tours. It's not just about viewing trends. The 9 day event presents a prime opportunity for potential homebuilders to find inspiration and connect with local professionals.

This 3500 SF home nestled along the Little Conestoga Creek in School Lane Hills had great bones, but the finishes were a bit outdated, felt dark, and was in need of a first-floor update. When you walk into the newly renovated area, you are greeted by a bold and beautiful dining room space featuring a new large custom hutch with a solid quarter sawn oak countertop by Kountry Kraft Custom Cabinetry. You pass through a small redesigned butler's pantry before entering the new kitchen boasting bright and clean cabinetry. The island features a 3” thick quartz countertop as well as a stained quarter sawn white oak island and hood. A custom glass pocket door between the kitchen and living room, crafted by Wood Creations, was added for additional dimension to the space. Finally, new built-ins were designed around the fireplace to house a larger TV while cleverly hiding it when not in use. Flooring and painting were done throughout the remodel, including newly sanded and stained maple floors and new carpet in the living room.
