Box Truck Driver


Position Summary

You’ll be asked to drive GR Mitchell trucks and aide with the loading and unloading of building material deliveries to our customers. This position does not require a CDL, but does include the need for a standard driver’s license. This full-time position, based out of Willow Street, will require day-time hours (no over-nights) and is typically Monday - Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles to deliver lumber, windows, and other building materials. Most deliveries are within a 2 hour drive of Willow Street.
  • Help prepare loads to fulfill customer orders.
  • Review load for accuracy and quality before departing.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from contractors at delivery site.
  • Assist with unloading items from vehicle. Position requires the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • On light delivery days, employee will be asked to help in the warehouse
