For five decades, GR Mitchell has been serving the residents and businesses of Central PA. The hardware store in Refton that George R. Mitchell bought in 1969 now serves the greater part of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. As the company grew, we still maintained our commitment to the community and family values that started over 50 years ago. Our True Value Home Center, Cabinetry Design Showroom, Lumberyard, and Building Materials Company are each focused on bringing you the right products for your job at a price and quality that beat expectations.

It's our mission to be the supplier you want to build with. Our knowledgeable staff provides accurate and timely deliveries of thousands of products, but GR Mitchell’s unique ability to perform big while operating small gives us flexibility to partner with customers in ways that make your projects easier.

Community Focus:

We serve multiple school districts and communities. We stay involved with Lampeter-Strasburg, Penn Manor, Lancaster, Solanco, and Conestoga Valley schools, and we work with various organizations from Lancaster to Drumore, Conestoga to Paradise. We are pleased to be a part of each community and Lancaster County as a whole.

Building Materials

Our experienced and dedicated staff is committed to finding the exact supplies you need and getting them to your work site. We keep everything simple. From local DIY jobs to the largest commercial building projects, we will make sure you are taken care of every step of the way.

Lumberyard

Our Willow Street lumberyard has more lumber and building materials than the big box stores in Lancaster County. We have a huge inventory of hard-to-find and specialty lumber, decking, windows, doors, and other materials. What we don’t have we can get for you in just a few days.

Delivery Services

We take great pride in our delivery services. We have our own drivers and a fleet of specialty trucks to make sure you get your complete order delivered to you on time and unloaded to your specifications. We also offer turnkey framing and trim services to build and install the materials we deliver.

True Value

As a locally owned True Value hardware store in Willow Street, PA, we can offer one of the largest selections of hardware in the area. We have the name brand home and professional grade tools, plumbing, electric, paint, and outdoor living products you have come to count on.

Cabinetry Design Showrooms

We have two showroom locations to help you bring your kitchen and bath renovation to life. We offer cabinetry brands in many styles, wood types, and finishes. Our countertops come in a wide assortment of materials and we offer hundreds of cabinet hardware options. Our designers, sourcing agents, and installers will make sure your project is in good hands every step of the way.
