Now Hiring CDL Driver

Position Summary

You'll be asked to drive company trucks and aide with the loading and unloading of deliveries to our customers by hand and utilizing a truck-mounted fork lift (Moffett). This position requires a valid CDL (Class A ) and manual transmission certification. Moffett experience is beneficial to performing this role. Forklift experience is a requirement.

First shift (typically 6 am - 3 pm, with occasional needs for extended hours) full-time position based out of our Lancaster warehouse located at 3009 Hempland Rd. Will drive a CDL truck nearly full-time but may be asked to also assist with driving non-CDL vehicles when needed (box trucks, straight trucks, pick-ups, etc).

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Job Requirements

License/Certification:
- CDL A (Required)
Experience:
- Moffett or Forklift: 2 years (Preferred)
- Building Material: 2 years (Preferred)

Driving Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles to deliver loads utilizing a Moffett. Most deliveries are in the local vicinity and occasionally up to a 2 hour drive of headquarters (position does not include overnight hauling).
Help prepare loads to fulfill customer orders.
Pick-up customer returns, documenting what's included.
Review load for accuracy before departing.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers at delivery site.
Assist with unloading items from vehicle. Position requires the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Adhering to assigned routes, safety protocols, and following schedules.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Other duties as assigned.
