OFFICE ASSISTANT


Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and friendly professional to add to the GRM team as an office/administrative assistant.

The ideal candidate will have an 'up for anything' type of attitude, as their responsibilities will include many recurring tasks, but the to-do list on any given day will change. This is a full-time, hourly role, based out of our Willow Street office.

Duties & Responsibilities

 · Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Answering and properly transferring incoming calls

· Managing employee clock-ins/outs, tracking vacation usage and otherwise helping to administer payroll

· Assist with additional HR activities like scheduling interviews, preparing new hire paperwork, scheduling pre-employment physicals, establishing health insurance and retirement plan information for staff

· Assist with planning/plan various GR Mitchell events (from departmental lunches to 500+ person customer events)

· Various sales/marketing/operational tasks using GR Mitchell's point of sale/ERP system, vendor programs (customer rewards system), Microsoft Excel, and other software

· Aiding in office cleanliness management

· Monitor levels of office supplies and order when appropriate

· With the help of GRM's IT resource, track computer/monitor/printer hardware health and purchases

· Aide with the purchasing of apparel for specific departments/employees

· Using personal vehicle (mileage paid) to help with the transfer of supplies between branches, pick-up of mail, bank deposits, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Experience in an office assistant or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

· Strong computer skills are a necessity, with a focus on strong email communication (using Outlook), various vendor platforms, and ability to use Excel

· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

· A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
